Captivating beauty of blue skies and desert sun against the rocky, pine-speckled Sandia Mountains created a perfect backdrop for the 2010 SHRM Southwest Central Regional Student Conference and HR Games, March 26-27, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Lobo Louie, Lobo Lucy and the University of New Mexico hosted over 150 student members and volunteers during the fun packed 1-1/2 days of educational sessions and spirited competition.
With festive clusters of school colored balloons floating overhead, Douglas M. Brown, Dean of University of New Mexico’s Anderson School of Management, kicked off the event with his insightful opening remarks.
Brett Farmolie and Zach Hubbell, keynote speakers, inspired students and volunteers alike as they shared the story of their cross-country venture to Pursue the Passion of getting people to think differently about career paths http://pursuethepassion.jobing.com/about.php.

There was a “March Madness”-like atmosphere as fifteen teams enthusiastically cheered one another on through each round of competition. A well-deserved “congratulations” to all fifteen of the participating teams!
