2012 SHRM NM CONFERENCE VIDEO CONTEST
“How are YOU on Top of your HR Game?”
You, your Human Resource experience, and a creative video may earn you a FREE registration to the 2012 SHRM NM Conference when you enter this video contest. The video with the most online votes will win one free registration, AND a premier showing at the conference (held on March 26-27, 2012). Make it entertaining, original, and focused on how attending the 2012 SHRM NM Conference will take you and your company to the Top of your HR Game! The deadline for submission is February 20, 2012 so submit soon! Let’s build a community of cheerleaders by encouraging others to submit a video to 2012SHRM@paydayinc.com, or to vote online! Rules and Regulations
Basic Requirements, Video Specifications, Prize Decision and Rights of Use
1. Video Contest is open to all residents of New Mexico 18 years of age and older.
2. Individuals may choose to submit a video as a group effort, or as an individual effort. However, no individual may participate in the submission of more than one video total.
3. Video submissions will be accepted from 12:01 AM October 16, 2011 through 11:59 PM February 20th, 2012
4. Videos must be between a minimum of 25 seconds and a maximum of 45 seconds in length to be considered for contest.
5. All video submissions including the 2012 SHRM NM Conference logo will be given first consideration for placement in the finalist videos. The logo may be accessed via www.shrmnm.org.
6. Videos should address the question: “How are YOU on Top of your HR Game?” Creative expressions in answer to the question are encouraged-- please tell us which aspects of HR your business is on top of and leading the way in. Do you excel at Benefits, Recruiting, using Social Media, CrowdSourcing, or something else? Tell us about it, please!
7. Videos should be submitted via email to 2012SHRM@paydayinc.com. If you experience any difficulty in submitting your video, email jessicae@paydayinc.com for assistance.
8. With submission, please include name, phone number and email address for all individuals who appear in each video.
9. 2012 SHRM NM Conference reserves all rights for all videos submitted to this contest. By submitting videos, all contestants grant 2012 SHRM NM Conference Planning Committee permission to use videos in any manner deemed fit by the Conference Directors.
10. The 2012 SHRM NM Conference Planning Committee Web Co-Chairs and Committee Members will select up to fifteen (15) finalists from all video submissions.
11. Finalist videos will be placed on the SHRM New Mexico website (www.shrmnm.org) for voting.
a. The 2012 SHRM NM Conference Planning Committee reserves the right not to post any video for any reason.
b. Specifically, videos containing inappropriate content-- including but not limited to inappropriate language, disparaging remarks against individuals or businesses, or other content that is deemed inappropriate by the Committee.
12. Voting will occur between 12:01 AM March 1, 2012 and 11:59 PM March 16, 2012.
13. Each vote must be tied to a VALID email address. Votes cast from unverifiable email addresses will be discarded and uncounted. Only one vote will be allowed per email address.
14. The video with the greatest number of votes as of 11:59 PM March 16, 2012 will be declared the winning video.
15. The prize for the winning video will be 1 (one) full general Admission to the 2012 SHRM NM Conference, to be held on March 26-27, 2012.
• Full value of this prize is up to $539 and is not redeemable as cash. If the prize winner has already purchased conference registration prior to being declared the winner, this registration may be transferred to another individual at no cost. Please contact the 2012 SHRM NM Conference Co-Directors in order to transfer the registration.
